Content marketing strategies continue to be important

Content marketing strategies are vital components of any successful firm, but it is important that they understand their target audience's before sending anything.
Campaigns such as B2B email marketing and direct mail are a great way of getting new prospects on board, as well as keeping current subscribers interested.
Research carried out by content marketing platform Outbrain and Econsultancy in August indicated that a solid minority of agencies worldwide are beginning to define the strategies.
Indeed, among respondents around 55 per cent said they were planning a content marketing strategy of some form in the near future.
Chief operating officer at the Content Marketing Association Julia Hutchison said it is important to make all content sent through to subscribers is as engaging as possible.
Opt-in email marketing newsletters have been noted as the most effective strategy, which is closely followed by social media posts.
Though budgets remain fairly small, marketers agreed that content is the "key to creating an emotional connection with customers".
